Sir Mark has a long and distinguished career in the investment and insurance fields.
He is the President and co-founder of the St. James's Place Wealth Management Group which has over £17 billion of funds under management. He is also the Chairman of the Pension Corporation, a company formed
by major institutions to buy out
the liabilities of large company pension schemes.
He was Deputy Chairman of the Securities and Investments Board, the forerunner of the Financial Services Authority, from its inception, and was an adviser on insurance affairs to the Secretary
of State for Trade and Industry.
